Member - How To Guide



A set of guides on how to navigate the different systems in StartNorth.



StartNorth membership mobile app

You can access your account via the startnorth.com.au website or via the Passport App.

  1. Download the Passport by Nexudus app via the below link or on your mobile device's app store.
  2. Log in to the app using your member user name (The email address you signed up with) and password.


Door swipe access

You can access StartNorth outside of normal business hours based on your membership using the Kisi mobile app.

  1. Download the Kisi mobile app via the below link or on your mobile device's app store.
  2. Log in to the app using your member user name (The email address you signed up with) and password.
  3. The app uses geolocation to open the doors so you must use the app near the swipe access.
  4. Due to security, you can only use Kisi with your primary linked mobile device.
    • If you change phones, you must log in to the Kisi webpage to deauthorise your current device.
    • Log in to Kisi on your new mobile device to authorise.


Member & visitor reception sign in and out

Members are required to sign in and sign out upon each use of StartNorth.


Sign in & out using pin code

  1. Press the member button on the touch screen and enter your unique member pin code on the next screen to sign in.
  2. Do the same when exiting to sign out of the system for the day.

Sign in & out using mobile Passport App

  1. Log in to the mobile Passport App and move your mobile phone over the touch screen to sign in.  
  2. Do the same when exiting to sign out of the system for the day.

Note: Visitors are required to sign in upon each visit of StartNorth.


Visitor sign in

  1. Press the visitor button and enter the required information
  2. If the visitor is meeting a StartNorth member, they can find the member's name as they type it in. If the visitor is meeting a non-member, they can type in StartNorth as the person they are visiting.
  3. Accept the T&C's and press register. An email will then be sent to notify the member that their visitor has arrived.


Printing & Photocopying

Members are given a certain amount of credit as part of their membership per month and are then charged for any additional printing.

  1. Members will receive an email with their username and password.
  2. When on the StartNorth Wi-Fi, navigate to the below link to install the appropriate papercut app.
  3. Enter your username and password into the papercut app.
  4. Send your print job to the StartNorth printer.
  5. To release your print job, enter your unique member pin code at the printer.

Printing credit cost:

A4 - Single Sided - 10 Credits = $0.10

A4 - Double Sided - 20 Credits = $0.20


A3 - Single Sided - 100 Credits = $1.00

A3 - Double Sided - 200 Credits = $2.00



Scanning

Members are given scan to email ability included in their membership.

  1. Enter your unique member pin code at the printer.
  2. Load your document(s) and select your scanning options.
  3. Press start. The documents will then be emailed to your email address on file


Booking a meeting room

Members are given a certain amount of credit as part of their membership per month and are then charged for any additional bookings. Members are to use the website or Passport App to book meetings.



Barco ClickShare for meeting room use

The Barco ClickShare system allows members to stream a wireless presentation via a ClickShare Button, Mobile App or Desktop App.

Members are able to check out a Barco ClickShare Button from reception during business hours.  


Wi-Fi

You can access the Wi-Fi in StartNorth using the details provided in the space.
